Michael Plank
Michael is a Health Professions Council Registered Podiatrist, having achieved a first class honours degree in Podiatry at the University of Brighton. Michael is highly skilled in all aspects of Podiatry with a particular interest in the biomechanics of walking and running.
Since leaving college in 1991, he gained six years experience working for South Downs Health NHS Trust which included providing a Gait Analysis clinic at the Sussex Rehabilitation Centre. He has also taught Podiatry and biomechanics as a lecturer at the University of Brighton. He is a member of the society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.
Michael is pro-active in the field of research and has published papers on Gait Analysis, Diabetes and foot pressure both nationally and internationally. He has also presented this work in Jerusalem, Amsterdam and Brussels. In 2001 he was awarded a citation from the The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists for developing the profession.
Michael is available at the practice 5 days a week.
Julie Stoddart
Julie is an experienced Podiatrist who qualified in 1980 and has worked both in Private practice and the NHS. She has worked at the Croydon practice for 8 years on a part-time basis. Julie is available at the practice on Wednesdays.
Sonia Patel
Sonia qualified in 1996 and has gained experience in the NHS specialising in Diabetes care and also works privately. She has worked at the Croydon surgery for 7 years as a Locum and is available for home visiting Chiropody in the local area.
Sandra Woolcock
Sandra qualified in 1995 and is experienced in private practice and NHS Chiropody care. She has worked at the Croydon practice for 5 years as a Locum.
